The award-winning cooperative of Ormarine is located in the village of Pinet just a short distance from the mediterranean sea and a few miles from the bustling port town of Sète. For the most part, the sea-facing vines produce the renowned 'Picpoul de Pinet' white grape which lends its name to the appelation. This world-renowned dry white is characterised by its intense fruity bouquet dominated by citrus and exotic fruit and it matches particularly well with seafood and shellfish. The cooperatve at Ormarine also produces excellent red and rosé varieties in Coteaux de Languedoc AOP and Pays d'Oc IGP.
