The classic red from Domaine Rotier at Cadalen, 'Les Gravels' was tank aged for 18 months before bottling. The colour is deep purple presenting aromas of dark fruit, mingling with notes of liquorice and spice. Powerful and complex but gentle tannins.
It matches particularly well with the classic dishes of the Southwest including; cassoulet, duck and grilled red meats.
This wine may be kept for 7-8 years.
