Aged in 400-litre French oak barrels for 24 months, this wine is not filtered and has no added yeasts or sulfites. The colour is deep and intense while the delicately spiced aromas reveal notes of roasted peppers and ripe dark fruit.
Powerful long finish, the tanins never overpower the fruit. This wine should be opened 2 hours before serving and can be served in decanter. Serve at room temperature with red meat roasts and strong cheese.
It can keep for up to 12 years.
