In the tiny appellation of Marcillac, the Mansois grape is virtually the only grape grown.
This very unusual variety, which is unique to the South-West, combined with the iron-rich local soil, give this wine its unique taste of 'terroir'.
Its purple robe coupled with the flavour of soft red fruits and a certain spiciness in taste make this Domaine de Mioula one of the very best wines from Marcillac.
Even the critics were blown away by this unique mountain wine...
