This grape variety, found only in Gaillac, gets its name from the fact that the grapes are bunched on long stalks and so are 'far from the eye'.
To taste, some might say it is similar in style to Muscadet from the Loire.
This crisp dry white from Domaine Ardurels is ideal with shellfish and other seafood. Fresh and light, It also works well in apéritif.
